A Note from the Pastor
As most of you know we are planning Revival services for November 15-18, 2020 at Beulah Baptist Church in Fruitland FL. Our guest preacher will be Dr. Mark Conrad from Turning Point at Calvary in St. Augustine; FL. Turning Point is allowing us to use their tent so that we can have our 2020 Community Roundup Revival in a nostalgic outdoor environment with a Western theme. Break out your cowboy hat, western shirt, and best cowboy boots as we Whoop it up for Jesus so that we might see people saved and many drawn closer to Christ in their daily lives.
Many churches in America are not holding revival services the way that many of us have grown accustomed to. Some say that they are not effective in the world that we live in today. I would venture to say that we are the hardened ones and that God very much wishes to see us draw closer to Him in worship and our daily living. We need revival, but very often are unwilling to seek it and obey 2 Chronicles 7:14; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Are you ready to humble yourself, pray, and seek the face of a loving Savior and Lord? We need His healing and forgiveness. I pray that we are not too busy to come before the Lord and focus on becoming more evangelistic and draw near to Him.
I am preparing a prayer guide of 40 Days of Prayer for Revival that will be posted on the church Facebook page and website. There will also be copies of the prayer guide at the church or you can let me know and I can e-mail or text them to you. Please plan to join your hearts and minds in prayer as we lift our upcoming revival, preacher, worship leaders, and all of those involved in setting up for these services nightly at 6:30 PM November 15-18. “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availed much.” (James 5:16b KJV)
All of our members will be assigned to one of four teams to encourage attendance and participation. Please consider at least three people that you can encourage to be a part of Men’s Night, Ladies Night, Family Night, or First Responders Night. Maybe you can make all four!
